VeridiumID Server Guide
There are several types of VeridiumID server installation. Based on requirements and installation context, the following chapter presents all options available.
Hardware requirements
Hardware sizing relies on the number of end users performing authentication.
The table below list the minimal hardware requirements based on the number of users and on the installation type selected :
for PoC's (not supported for production as it is single point of failure) : one node with 16Gb and 4CPU; Tomcat 4Gb and Cassandra 4Gb.
for small companies, with less then 1000 users - 3 nodes unified (32Gb and 4CPU) - Tomcat 4Gb; Cassandra 4Gb.
for companies with less then 5000 users - layered (2 App nodes + 3 Persistance with at least 16Gb and 4 CPU) Tomcat 6Gb; Cassandra 4Gb; Elasticsearch 4Gb.
for companies with less then 10.000 users - layered (2 App nodes + 3 Persistance with at least 16Gb and 8 CPU). Tomcat 6Gb; Cassandra 6Gb; Elasticsearch 4Gb.
for companies with less then 50.000 users - layered ( 2 App nodes + 3 Persistance with at least 32Gb and 16CPU) Tomcat 8Gb; Cassandra 8Gb; Elasticsearch 4Gb.
for companies with less then 150.000 users - layered (2 App nodes + 3 Persistance with at least 32Gb and 32CPU). Tomcat 12Gb; Cassandra 12Gb. Elasticsearch 6Gb.
Note: that the machine(s) can be either a virtual instance(s) or a physical machine(s).
