There is a option to support initial user's onboarding using Credential provider.
The process than looks as follows:

Newly hired user will type his logon name to Veridium Credential Provider:

Credential Provider will identify that this user is not yet onboarded in Veridium ID.

When user answers "yes", CP will start Self-Service portal
